S-400 based singles (a5k's) can hold into the 800's before they go...

Then twins are there for the rest...at least reliably.
I'm think you meant A5K as in K31 variant can hold 800's.

Stock 600, I have never blown a htt turbo, not that you cant but mine have been great. The 5 I have had issues with are all custom made and bigger than 85mm. In fact the 80mm I got from htt has been on and off a lot testing other turbos. After they let go I put the 80 back on and it keeps going. It made 949hp on Dunbars dyno last week. I wish I could get Dave to make me a 90+mm charger. Tim

Hey guys,
I think I'm gettin close to the 600-650 hp mark so I hope that if it's built correctly they last a good long time. I know I have destroyed 1 NV5600 2 clutches 3 turbos, destroyed a piston and head. Not to mention all the u joints and oh yea breaks and rotors trying to bring this big tank to a halt.
Good luck and have fun,
Topper

Cool, sounds like these trucks define the word "overbuilt".

Soulezoo: I saw your truck in J's shop last weekend. It told me to tell you that it misses you. Tough breaks, man. Good luck!

Boosted launch last time at the track spun all 4 then hooked and broke stock intermediate, and twisted the billet output. Thankfully suncoast warrantied the output. And this was after the stock output let go as well.
We have also ripped stock flywheels apart in 500hp trucks, grenaded turbos, etc. Now everything is coming together and I hope parts will stop breaking.

I'm not quite to the 600+hp your talking but my answer is bank account!! Especially with twins coming and my tranny guy says no way he'll help install the twins without doing the flex plate and output shaft, ouch!!

Get a good tranny with billet shafts I went with a cryo shaft at one time (output) took me to serveral 12.40 to 12.50 runs but when I broke it went to load it on a trailer and the ramp flipped up took out the bed side. The shaft I thought that I was saving money on ended up costing me about 2800 bucks!!!!!!!!!!!! It was still my fault but if I would have went with a billet shaft instead it wouldn't of happened.....
