Not sure what you mean by holding power (tranny?) and how that would relate to the difference in lifts?

you'll have just as much power with 13"s of lift vs. stock!!

You do lose a little power by going to a bigger lift because of drive line angles increasing. You will need to keep your gearing as close to stock ratios after putting on the larger tires. If you have the 4.11, you may be fine remaining with the stock differential gearing but with the 3.73, you will notice power loss.

super chip?

get a better programer and some traction bars and you will be able to roast 37"'s. and not notice the power loss, until you have to tow and tame down the programing.

sorry i thought that the sc was on the mega.

In my opinion go with the 8" lift. You know if you get the 6" lift, down the road you're going to be telling yourself I should have got the 8" lift. -Glen

I deff. wouldn't expect the same performance. The higher you go, the more your going to have to up your perforamce mods and the more stress you'll be putting on your truck.

You can't have your cake and eat it too..

UNFORTUNATELY

What is even worse is when you get a 6" lift, and somebody with an 8" lift pulls up next to you.

Well you could leave the stock size tires on like the other guy and that would help with the loss of power. Just kidding

What size does it say you can run with the 8"?
