My truck is just getting ready to hit 200k, and is paid off, so I'm wanting to bomb it a bit. It is mostly stock but just put on an airdog 2 and an ATS tranny. Its mostly just a daily driver but I do pull a 30 ft flatbed around the farm so I don't want any issues.
Was talkin to my mechanic and he's concerned about my injectors so I'm thinking while its in might as well go all out a bit.
So where do I start, injectors size etc. He's mentioning a 64mm turbo, what one should I look at?

Search search search. Lots of good information on this subject. Since you tow you are not going to want a 64mm turbo. It will be laggy. Do the tranny first. If you need to go through the injectors, get F1 to do them with the Flux 1 sticks (50hp). They will work fine with your stock turbo until you can get a mod plan together.

 

I'd go with a larger 62mm turbo, something around 90 hp sticks, mild cp3 upgrade and smarty tuning. I know a few folks that near the same set-ups and tow mild loads. Their trucks seem to be reliable as well. Research like spooler suggested, good stuff on this site.
