4" Holset Cast Elbow

Does anyone know if Holset has released the part number for their 4" exhaust cast elbow that Dodge uses for their 2004.5 Cummins?

My point of contact there is on vacation, but we talked back in March and it was said the part number was due to be released in a few months.

Has anyone heard of such or know if there's an alternative to the Banks 4" down pipe that replaces the 2003-2004 cast elbow?

Man, if I had one of those and a 10' section of 4" pipe I would have a full 4" exhaust..

Will it ever end????????

The only think I can find with Pacbrake is an exhaust brake. Is that what you're referring to Mike12345?
I'm just looking for a 4" replacement for the stock 3.5" cast elbow.

I just received word from Holset that they will be releasing the part number for their cast elbow by the middle of this August!!
This elbow is the same elbow found on the new 600's. With this elbow and a 4" exhaust, us '03 and early '04 guys can have a complete 4" system without having to worship Banks and their expensive little drop down pipe.
Though I not sure how much the Holset part will be, but I'd rather have something from Holset and that Dodge uses on their 600's.

I thought the Banks DP was acutally priced quite well..... It's only about 20 bucks more than the cheapest Stainless Steel DP I could find (thiers is stainless).... And for getting rid of the cast elbo and having a Vband clamp bracket on the end, it thought the price was very fair....... I'm very please with my Banks DP and what I paid for it......

One thing is for sure, I woudn't pay what they want for the complete exhaust..... Now that's unreasonalbe. IMO

I thought Banks was the only one manufacturing a replacement for the factory cast elbow? I just can't see spending over $100 bucks to replace that cast elbow.
Casting is a very cheap process - especially when you look at the numbers in production. I can't imagine Holset charging even close to $100 bucks for their elbow. I could be wrong....

You will find that a Stainless still DP that buts up to the Cast elbow will be in the 150 to 170 range. The Banks DP was 180.... So even once you have a true 4inch cast elbow, a DP will still be rather expensive...... Banks DP is the best bang for the buck as far as DP's go (atleast from what I found when checking).

It's the same elbow that comes stock on the 600's.
