I'm finding out that the new SRT-10 Quad Cab will be coming with an Auto only which is the 48RE. I want the truck to be a stick, what fun would it be to have a viper motor with an auto? With that said I know my current truck will never be an SRT-10, but now I'm thinking maybe I should just keep my truck and spend money on mods and have a pretty quick diesel truck. I cold drop 6K in my truck and have a pretty quick dually. What would you guys do?

 

Me for one, would love to have the SRT-10! However, I do leave the pavement. I use the 4X4, I sling mud/gravel, and anything the tires can grab. I haul occasionally, and go places I sometimes shouln't be in. That's why I have a truck. My life would need changing for the SRT-10, no hunting, fishing, gravel roads, hauling and worrying if it's dinged any where. I was close to getting it, but no, I couldn't. My wife was in shock that I went for the diesel instead of the 10. Ow well, that's my life style and I can live with it. I know I can by a beater and do it that way, but I love my diesel...But it would be awesome sitting @ a lite and just dustin what shows up.
