I found it last night, called first thing this morning, it's sold. I was planning the 700 mile run for tonight.

The frustrating part is, I didn't see this truck when it first listed, (I check autotrader at least once a day for new listings), because the dealer placed the ad in the trucktrader, which is more for commercial vehicles.

So the tip is: anybody shopping, make sure to check the trucktrader too.

Sigh.

Here's a long shot, is there someone near Gillette, Wyoming, that want's to go look at a truck for me? Long shot indeed.

I'm feverish all right.

I've been looking casually for some time, and intensely for about a month. Never from desperation, having a vehicle.

When I went to Az. last week to see a truck, I think I used up a head gasket on my 318 83 Dodge van.

I really, really, don't want to plow money into this van, and tearing into a 200k 318 isn't gonna' end with a head gasket.

So all of a sudden, I am a little more desperate, and I only have one decent lead.

Wyoming is out (sold), Portland might be in.

Anyone in Ca. willing to go to Roseville and club some sense into a dealer so he will drop his asking price $5,000?

I've been going through the same thing for the past two months. They're either sold by the time I get a ride or by the time I get there. Frustrating as hell.
