Is 4.5" backspacing good?

I have a dually and just put a long arm kit on and now i have rubbing issues. I found some cheap steel wheels that have 4.5" back spacing, is that enough to clear the arms without rubbing?

Yeah that should put you a ways away from your arms. Are you on the factory rims right now?

Actually I'm sorry I didn't even notice it was a dually, I don't really know much about the backspacing on those

I would think it would push the tire away from the control arms, and you should have enough lift in front not to rub the fenderwell in the rear of the front wheelwell. I'm running 4.52 in back spacing on a 17x9 with 35x12.5 and it doesn't get anywhere near my control arms. Tac
