Depends on what your after as to what the new suspension will act like. Most of the big lifts are gonna be a down grade or the same as far as ride quality.
Call Don Thuren at Thuren Fab.
Great guy that can git you anything you want. Or tell you from experience what to avoid.

not looking to off road the truck or any thing just want hight for looks and bigger tires, the ride i have now is fine prolly just going to put blocks in the rear a stiff ride doesnt bother me. ive just heard stories of parts in the front end wearing out quiter and the steering can be a little sloppy and the truck wondering and id like to avoid any of this if i can.

try a 4.5 inch lift i went with the trailmaster kit so i could run 35s eazy without having to me drive lines and gears with the bigger lifts. it comes with everything and new coils. also if you change your mind and want to go a little bigger just stick you spacers on top of the 4 inch springs.

i have a manual tranny and they say if you go to the 6" you need an indexingring to get rid of front end vibration so i would need to put that in. are the control arms different from 4 to 6" i thought they were.

For a 4.5 inch lift I always thought 35s look about the right size. Moving up to 6 inch, 37s seem to fit. I have the 4.5 inch lift with 35s, and I wish I went with the 6 inch with 37s... But for a regular cab dually it may be a little different (and more money to purchase all that rubber).

yeah i am going back and forth between the 2 because its like 6" is sweet but at the same time if i put a plow on my truck for next winter i dont think it will work with a 6" lift spending more money on 2 extra tires isnt that bad i dont mind

I ran my 6" Superlift for 10K without any front end vibration. I had the indexing ring and didn't need it. But when I pulled my tranny to upgrade the clutch, I went ahead and threw it in. Now I'm running at 9" above stock with no frontend vibe. I did however have the rockrunner links so I could adjust the castor to prevent the vibe at 6".

Even without planning to go off road most of the suspensions that are higher in quality are gonna give a little better handling and so forth on road. You still dont have to spend 3 gs to get a decent setup at what ever height you want. Thuren builds alot of the kits around what ever you want to do. Its not like kore where you either gtet the expensive top notch stuff or nothin at all.
Also the only death wobble stories ive ever heard of were only on the cheaper lift kits that come off the shelf.
Just tryin to help. I dont think any of the lifts are stand alone all you will need to get a stock or better ride without DW.
