325/65/18 and 2 inch lift on 5.7 backspaced wheels, will it rub?

Trying to help a friend out. Toyo says that A/T tire is 13.3 inches wide. If you go up to a 20 inch wheel the 325 is 12.9 inches wide. Either is an option but 18s might be the better choice since that is less weight way out there.

Should he go to a 3 inch lift?

On my truck I've found my 17 inch wheels with 5.7 inches of backspacing work great for 315s, I ran them stock and they didn't rub. I'm thinking 5.7 is a sweet spot for these moderate lifts.

Thanks in advance!

2" lift + 325 65 18's = lots of rubbing. don't try it. 325 60's will rub a little, but are just about perfect for 2"

Sorry I have to disagree. I have a 2in daystar level, 18x9 5.71BS +18mm OS wheel and 325/65-18 Toyo AT's and only rubbing is on the muflap below wheel well at full lock. Doesnt touch fenders/control arms. I spent a lot of time researching/asking questions on wheel/tire specs to make sure it worked...and it does

Good for you bro. It must have been a different backspacing and/or offset on the wheels I was running. the 325 60's fit as you described, but the 325 65's were not even close to being able to fit.

It all depends on the backspacing and offset of the wheel. Mine rub pretty bad, until i cut/bend the fenders. Thats with a 3 in lift in front, 325/65/18 on a 5.5in BS and 0 offset. It rubs pretty good.

I know of a guy around here that runs 325/60/18 tires on 18x10 wheels and he was saying that they rub with a level kit. wide wheels make them rub

Your biggest problem is your wheel is 10" wide. That same backspacing on a 9" wheel would probably work. I recommend no wider than a 9" wheel with 5.5" min backspacing and 6" backspacing preferred.

To answer the question, yes they will fit great as long as you have the correct backspacing. Go with what ptgarcia suggested; that's the perfect backspacing on a rim 9" wide or less.

If you have the wheels that are in your sig, they are 5" backspacing not 5.5" and that is why you rub. Do you have any pics of that setup? I'm looking at some black Rockstars in 18's, but I didn't know if they would be too small with the design of the rim (maybe you understand where I'm coming from). I've never seen them in 18's..... a pic would be great!
