3 gauge choices..

I see most packages are pyro, boost, trans, now I am new to the ctd but I figure it would be better to go with pyro, trans, fuel pressure? correct me if I'm wrong here but I think fuel pressure would be more important than boost? I plan on keeping my truck stock...for now.TIA
Also, who's got the best deal on a 3 gauge package?

Honestly, you really don't need a tranny temp gauge. I would go pyro, boost, and fuel pressure. Boost is a good tool to have.

The tranny has an overtemp alarm from the factory and they really don't run that hot, even when towing heavy. The only time they usually heat up is when backing up with a heavy load.

I would say pyro, boost, rail, and then fuel if you don't have good lift pump.

Thanks JR, just want some opinions before buying, good to know.

CC, the lift pump has been replaced and is in the tank.I have just read so many posts about lift pumps going out and taking the Inj pump with it I don't want this to happen to me.

Even if you have an aftermarket lift pump, a FP gauge will tell you if your fuel filter is getting dirty/clogged.

Pyro, boost, fuel pressure, for a 3 gauge pod...

Make sure you buy a kit that comes with everything you need...

...saves you a lot of running around for small stuff that nickle and dimes you...

while aggrevating you at the same time.

I have FP, boost, pyro, rail psi, and trans. Would not do it any other way. All are very instrumental in tuning and diagnosing problems!

If you are gona stay stock I agree with jrussel, pyro, boost, fp. And you could do those in a three guage pod on the A pillar or maybe above your rearview. Then IF you decide to add some more hp I would recomend trans temp and rail guage. And you could mount those on the steering columb.
