Gauge pod location choices
Gauge pod location choices
Looking to get a set of gauges but am leaning to the in dash pod as to the pillar location, just wondering if it is more difficult to run the wiring ,etc to this location instead of the pillar? Also, the dash mount (to fit in the empty slot below the stereo) are the designed so the gauges are angled towards the driver? I have never seen these installed yet?
TIA

Why don't ya fill in your signature, that let's everyone know what you have. To fill that in go to user cp to the upper left of your screen.
I have the steering column mount for 2 gauges, have a 3rd mounted in the middle in a pod. Check out my pics. and you'll see it. I like it, I run mech. gauges hiding the braided lines between the dash and col. It's auto meter's pod for $30 through jegs or summit. If you need part #'s let me know.

I have had both, A Pillar and under the AC controls. They are about the same as far as install, the in dash ones you have to run the wires a little bit further and hide them under the dash but not hard to do with some zip ties.
