I am looking for 12V switched power under the hood of my 06 2500 Cummins to power an airbag compressor. I will be using it to signal a cube relay, so it will not have much of an amp draw. The spade fuse tap supplied with the kit won't work with the small fuses in the under the hood fuse box and I would prefer to not use them anyway. Is there a good place under the hood for this tap or do I need to run a wire from inside the cab.

I tried searching on here and did not have any luck finding this info, although I would bet it has been discussed before.

Run the power for the compressor off the battery through a relay triggered by an oil pressure switch.
