2006 automatic mods

so im looking into buying truck kinda want a 6 speed but i was thinking what would be the least i could do to make the automatic hold up well to run with following mods.. intake exhaust glacier fuel system and a diablo predator only.
im not saying a sled pullin truck but just to play around with and tow with
i dont wanna go crazy on mods but want it to hold up thanks

for anything over stock, id recommend atleast a tc/vb. if you want to do some mild boosted launches, tc/vb/input/flexplate

you are correct. before you ask...DTT, Goerends Brothers, and HTS are some of the more popular brands.

what about ats stuff and u recommend a tourqe converter first then valve body
and both in and output shafts or just input

looks to be alot cheaper to get the 6 speed and be able to spend money on better things since it seems very expensive to make a automatic hold up

I run a suncoast converter in my 06 and it makes a big difference compared to the stocker. my tranny was built by hawk and it was a good investment. for now it has held anything that I ive put on the truck
