I just picked up my new 2006. Its nice and slow with the 37's. I'm going to get a smarty for it.... I was just wondering with a stock clutch and fuel system... what is a safe level on the smarty to keep it at for now? I'll be upgrading them both shortly. I just can't stand being so slow right now!
here's the truck btw

I killed my clutch on level 5 with the stock tires on I would think with the 37's if you wish to keep the clutch for a while i'd stick with level 3. Once you slip it a couple of times it's done.
Not trying to change the subject but you might want to run a different exhaust system instead of a side dump cause thats what i did and now my rim is pure black and it don't come off to easy either.
Hmm okay and what about the fuel system. I'm not really familiar with the CR's. If I got the clutch right away how far up the smarty lvls could I go before fuel pressure became a problem?

Depends on the condition of your stock pump. I ran mine on level 7 for quite a while before i upgraded. The extra demand on fuel could shorten the life of the stock pump. I would get the clutch and run the smarty for a while if you have a fp guage you will be able to tell when you need more.
Yep, on level 7 I can just about drain the fuel rail running the truck through the quarter mile.... Not good, looking at fuel to be the next supporting mod... Now, just need to hit the lottery and I'll be good...
lol yea I was going to change the exhaust to. I don't like the sound of it right now... and my friend had the same thing before and it looked like he had one different rim all the time. I'm prob going to go with mbrp duals.
