2 fuel system upgrade questions...Air Dog or FASS

This one i dont get. My fuel is pumped from the tank thru a filter that also separates out the water. The filter has a water purge and dash lite if it is required. Then it goes to the high pressure pump for the fuel rail and then to the injectors. Air dog and Fass make a filter to get MORE air and water out of the fuel so as to "extend" injector tips life. There are millions of trucks that have no AD or Fass. Where is the investment return?

Thanks for the reply. Used the search and found results for everything but what I wanted. I can get Cat filters easy.
