Defiant steering shaft brace?

I decided that I want to add a brace. After reading all the old threads it appears that this can only help prevent replacing the PS box wear from my 35's and may also tighten up the slight bit of wander I sometimes feel. It appears that the Defiant is the one that I want to go with since it is one peice but I can not locate anything on where to purchase it. The Defiant page appears to only be making light bars now? If this is the case my second choice is going to be the PSC.

Look up www.dodgeramsteeringstabilizer.com. It is one piece, and IIRC, looks to be close to the Defiant.

That one is only a peice of angle rather than square tubing like majority of the others. It appears that i will go with the PSC.

I have the PSC on 2 trucks, they came with it on. How many miles do you have on yours and is the steering loose now?

I have an 05 that does not have one, steers like it was new (only 32k) I was thinking I should put one on now to help save it.

I just hit 59,000 and did my 60,000 change of all the fluids, etc last week. Prior to my tire rotation the steering felt loose with a little wander. After rotating the tires it seems to have gotten better. The inside of my front tires had more wear than the outside. I checked all the steering components for bad bushings, etc but they all appeared very tight. Ball joints had a miniscule amount of play when pushing/pulling on top and bottom of tire. I still need to check the up/down movement with a prybar.

My line of thinking is that it cant hurt to add one now even if there are no steering problems. It will just prolong the life of the PS box.
