1/4 mile question

going to be in my first track race today, have to launch in 4x4, but do you keep it locked in all the way or go to 2 wheel at some point down the track??

LOCKED ALL THE WAY...

It would not unlock anyways under load.

thanks, i figured as much, just never raced to the max before, usually it is just killing ricers or a duramax on short runs.

Expect your front pinion seal to start leaking a little. That front diff doesn't like 100mph.

how do you like the Aurora3000? is it drivable every day? i am looking at that turbo or the industrial injection ones, and if i hit 100mph i will be happy regardless of what leaks!

well the open drag night was a bust, one of the cars blew a motor and bled oil all over the right lane thus ending the fun for the night, only one more day for street legals this year, hopefully things will run a little smoother

Mine hasn't started leaking...yet.

I'm surprised the diff would care whether it's in 4wd or not since it's still turning all the time in 2wd anyway. Oh well, a leaky pinion seal never hurt anyone.
