05 and 06 are NOT the same, the 06's do not have the data link where most of these boxes got alot of their information. From what I understand its a good thing that the data link was dropped because they are finding out it didn't always give the correct/consistant information.
For an 06 your only options right now are the quad boxes (race, regular, xzt) and the bullydog downloaders (bullydog is still beta testing but you can get it and updates when they come out). TST is suppose to have something out in the next week or so, but it will be around $900, it's the daddy of power but wasn't what I was looking for, but does have some cool features.
Edge is working on something but no time frame when it'll be ready. VanAken and banks never got back to me so I assume they are not even working on anything yet.
I went with the quad race box and am very happy. Very soon they will have their monitor out thats alot like the edge attitude (but better) which I'll get so I can have gauges and the saftey backdowns. I've been leaving it on the 60 horse setting and it will really awaken your truck. Will spin the tires, seems to add power lower than other boxes and the passing power is insane. 100 horse is pretty fun too but I'm worried about playing with it without gauges yet. I ordered mine through the dTR site at the top of the page. If you just want a kick get the xzt...

Thats exactly the information I was looking for oxman. Thanks for the concise reply. I will keep an eye out for the quad monitor as I want an all in one package as well.

Its a downloader right? I would think all previous downloaders would work, they might need a software upgrade, the big problem everyone had with the boxes was the data link.

There was no such thing with my old 01. Everything left evidence.

Bully Dog does have the Triple Dog that works great on the '06. Right now I do not believe that anyone had any Monitor system that currently works on the '06s. I know they are in the works, but who knows when they will be done. You can always run Analog gauges and use the Triple Dog programmer and still get on the Fly adjustability thru the programmer.

I talked to Edge yesterday and for the '06's the Edge EZ for the '05's will work just fine. They are still in beta testing for the higher level ones like the Juice and Juice with Attitude. Bully Dog is still in the works for '06 models.

Stakeman its a fuel module plug and play, when you uninstall it there is no evidence that anything was plugged in. The truck goes back to stock, the module does the adjustments while its plugged in..
