06 adjustable control arm question
My friend has carli trac bar, and lorenz 2 1/2 springs with lorenz longer sway bar links that are junked. They r crudded up from lack of maintaining.
Lift is likely close to 2" due to the heavy ranchhand bumper.
We went and talked to thuren about a 4 to 6 week build time I guess.
He wants to get front end done this month. Adding the the 3rd gen upgrade steering and borg box and shaft. He is trying to stay in the 700$ range for adjustable control arms without the wait. What are his best options. He tows monthly a camper or a trailer and a razor. He is around alot of pummice that is used in oregon in the mountains during winter. That stuff is abrassive to parts.
Thanks for the opinions.
He mentioned to me but I have no experience
Rockmen, hell bent steel, dodge off road, DSS but those are more than he wants to spend

what did your buddy end up doing with his truck?
my control arm bushings are shot and my caster is way out of spec so I ordered a set of BD adjustable arms today, $800 Canadian so that's pretty cheap after the exchange on our Canadian peso, when I finally get them installed I'll give you my .02 on them

sorry just saw this. He ended up getting the Rokmen Control arms that are double adjustable. He also had his entire steering links/rods etc all replaced with custom bars that were machined to accept traditional red ends. I'm not sure who made the drag link or cross over bars. he put on new energy susp sway bar bushings and bought a pair of end links from Thuren and a steering box brace but not sure who from.
no complaints except Rokmen had a special tool they sold to adjust and he didn't buy it and the folks who installed the arms had an issue I guess in the begining so it took extra time at shop but I dont know the details on that.
