whats up with the high EGTs on the new 05's I can't use my TST higher than 4/3 or my egts go over 1400 real fast. I want to stack with the BDDL when it returns from Bully Dog but the high EGTs already have me worried.
I was able to run the 7/7 setting on my 03 so dually and temps were 1300 under acceleration.
I would like some suggestions on lowering the EGTs with bigger turbo ?which one? water,and or water /meth injection

 

well you could try thr pup when stacking it actually lowers my egts a bit

 

your 05 has more power stock, probably from fueling, so more heat, maybe more retarded cam timing for emission control, also more heat? does your tst add timing? if not, then the Bully Dog would be better for egt control due to timing added.
