A buddy of mine has an 03 ho stock turbo and 50 horse injectors an fass pump. He just got a smarty and a tst so what should he run them on for every day driving and for most performance?

I can't help w/ the TST, but I bet it will be HOT w/ the stock huffer. Should run good if he has the upgraded pumps needed for that stack/sticks.

Let see stock turbo... I would say if he's smart, Smarty maybe 5 and TST 2/2 max. Now if he's not smart... (Like me) When I had my 03 ho I ran my Smarty on 8 and my TST on 4/3. Of course it wasn't to long after that that I bought those new pistons. Oh yea the new head came shortly after that. Oops I almost forgot I did get the new Silver 62 turbo after I melted the stock turbo. After that the truck was built proof well I did break the gears in my NV5600 trans a couple of times and smoked the stock clutch and the South Bend FE. The Valair 3600 DD is holding up great now. But that was only a few grand so that doesn't count... right.
That's a real powerful stack he will break his truck unless he is willing to spend some real coin.

I run Smarty on 7, and TST on 6/0.

 

I would keep TST off until he gets a better turbo. The Smarty will still over-power his truck w/o the TST.

 

x2 on what he said. hes got way more than he needs right now

 

what does he need for his injector pump? upgrade or duals? and what turbo 62/12?

 

Id go stg 3 pump and a 62/71/14 or a 64

 

Tell ya what, tcr has it right. A stg3 w/a 62 or 64 would be great but he will need some serious trans/clutch work to hold it.
A stocker wont live long behind that stack.
