What year truck, what mods, what were the conditions.

That is a symptomatic code which is linked to low fuel delivery. Could be your CP3, Lift Pump, Filter plugged....hard to say.

That's a fuel delivery code that will have to be reset.

Sorry bout that. It's a 2006 5.9 . It runs fine at idle and then up to 1700 but just got worse and won't go above 1100 RPM now. Maybe the filter is clogged. Where is it located on this truck?

go to autozone and clear the codes.

Should be a round canister drivers side engine bay just under the cowl. Unscrew the cap but do not pull the filter out yet, place container under drain tube. Turn the yellow lever allow fuel to drain. Once it is done draining close lever. Remove filter (attached to lid) replace with filter place back in canister. Tighten. Turn key to run...wait. "Kick" motor over once, wait....now start.

go to autozone and clear the codes.

If this doesnt fix it....you could have a bad FCA, CP3 ....or

As well there is a TSB to fix hard starts...not sure if this applies.

And make sure to use a good filter like Fleetguard or Baldwin. If you need to get one quick, and it sounds like you do, go to the dealer and get the Mopar filter and ask them to make sure it is the 7 micron filter.

Autozone type of scanner cannot clear all codes. Some are hard codes that can only be cleared by a dealer scanner tool or aftermarket programmer like Smarty.
