Talking WOOOOOO HOOOOOO Got IT !

Well I'm a proud papa... Ive been posting for the last 6-8 weeks on this forum and didn't have a truck yet. (Not for the lack of trying, Dealerships ordering the wrong truck for us) Ive been reading and learning all that I could over the last several months.

Well I picked it up yesterday. 07' ~ 3500 Dually ~ 6.7 with auto ~ Mega ~ Black ~ Laramie

I'm going to post pictures of it later today, not that everyone dosent already knows what one looks like

BUT, this is what I would really like to tell everyone that MIGHT be interested. I will probably write another post or add to this one later this week. Its about all the dealers I have dealt with and all the BS problems Ive run into with some of the top dealerships across the country. I have taken 'the forums' advice and contacted all of them PLUS many more. For the guys/gals that might be looking for a new Dodge Diesel in the next year or so I would like to tell people my experience over the last two months........

I have found a dealership that SMOKED the price of Dave Smith, and Big O Dodge, and several others of the "good deals". Like I said, I'm going to write another post for people that are interested and tell my little adventure. And for people that live in TX or near, you have a GREAT choice to get a truck other than 'maybe' Dave Smith. Jennifer @ Randolph Dodge, Eastland TX......... tell her jackson 5 sent ya over.

Didn't mean to get on the soap box, just excited I guess!

THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT INFO OVER THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this is posted in the wrong section, if someone knows how to move it, could you please, thank you.

Does your Mega have a single "MEGACAB" badge on the tailgate or one each on the "C" pillars ?

I saw another '07.5 the other day over on TDR and it had them on the "C" pillars.....mine only has one on the tailgate. Maybe DC got cheap around 05/16/07 and decided to only do one on the tailgate the rest of the model year.

Congrats on the new MegaCab.....they're schweeet. I ordered a 3500 but also opted for the training wheels delete option as I tow very infrequently and wanted a tad better fuel economy.

Mine has them on both sides! Yea, I wanted the single wheel but after reading on the forum and towing as much as we do I got the dually.... LOVE IT so far!!!

I have 4 local Dodge dealerships and went to all of them. Dave Smith beat them by $8,000.00. Sure, they would have matched the Dave Smith price, but I didn't even want to give them a chance cause they tried to rip me a new one right off the bat. Dave Smith decided to give me a good price right off the bat. So, I bought one in Idaho. You may have found a great deal, but Dave Smith still gets a nod from me. They treated me right. I'll get off the soapbox now...sorry.

No problem with me here Infact I had a deposit on a truck there and when it came off the train it was the wrong truck.. I have nothing to say bad about Dave Smith.... My sales person was great. "other than the wrong truck"

But I made just a few calls to some not so local dealers and told them what I wanted. The place that I bought from called back in five minutes with a price better than Dave Smith.... O' yea, Beat Dave Smith and had $1000 bucks worth or extra crap installed and they did the window tint, all included no extra and better than ANY other dealer I have delt with in the last eight weeks!!!! WOOOO HOOOO its over!!!!!

I would for sure call Dave Smith again... Its just 2000 miles from me.. It would have to be a Gooooooooooood deal!!

I guess I need to start telling myself, who cares about buying the darn thing........ Now just drive the heck out of it and enjoy it!!!
