What Tools Needed For CCV Replacement?
Just a quick question, guys. I'm planning to replace the CCV filter in the near future and want to be sure I have the proper tools beforehand. I don't want to get halfway through the job and not be able to finish. What size sockets and/or other tools will I need? Thanks....

Going from memory which is not always accurate now with it being so cold out.
Its either an 8mm or 10mm socket to remove the cover. There is one stud at the back passenger side and that will be the same size...deep socket. The rest is easy and no tools required, lift off the cover, pop out old CCV and replace with new.
At least that is how I recall it. It took less then 15 min.

There is a cover of which you would think is the valve cover...that is the CCV cover. Remove that cover and you will see the CCV filter. Its easy to change once you get the cover off and the cover is easy too. Oil filter cap, bolts around the outer edge of the cover and one stud/wire harness holder at the back passenger side.
Its literally the top of the engine under your "Cummins" Logo cover.
Hope that helps.
