CCV Red Deer August 23, 2008
Just to let all you guys know of an upcoming event in Red Deer on August 23, 2008. The boys at CCV are putting on a show for everyone. The boys from VEX Tuning will have their dyno set up there too. There will be all kinds of stuff going on including a show n shine, special guests like UFC's Jason MacDonald, open house, etc.. Ty Skjonsberg always treats a guy right and it will be a good time like always with CCV.

I am thinking about heading down as I just bought a 12 valve and would like to get some baseline horsepower numbers before I start all of the modding. Is the dyno free or how much per run? Also I have never dynoed before so would they have somebody to run my truck for me?

We ran our own trucks in June. Not much to it with their dyno, they hold the speed steady, you pin it, then they let it ramp up.
What year did you get? I can tell you now, a 215hp will dyno 175hp and 400 lb.ft. at the wheels.

I might make it. That is if, I just have a blown headgasket and not a crack some were and of course get it back together by then. We got the twins installed on my brothers truck just waiting for the stage 3 pump to get here, if it does I am sure he will want to see what the beast is capable of now.

The Mach's are awesome!! The truck idles smooooth, less smoke and alot more power with lower egts then the BD injectors that I had. Wish I would of went straight to them. Really want to see what it will do on the dyno now. I just have to stop the oil from getting in the coolant and things will be good. Gona tear it down this weekend and see what wrong.
Just wondering if anybody has recommendations on were to take the head to get o-ringed Peak, PDR or maybe CT?

Peak farms theirs out to a local shop, Harry said it would be about $500 to have done, plus shipping. Not sure about PDR, I think they may have sold their tools to do it. Better call to make sure though. CT farms theirs out as well, where I'm not sure. My head never made it that far. According to Mike Holmen, D&W engines does o-ringing, I might talk to them later on when I get the 12v done.
