That sounds like coolant to me. It is a pink. Open the radiator when cold and you can get some on a white paper towel.

Did you taste it? Just kidding don't do that. Are coolant is pink. Check to see if you have coolant on the lid of your air cleaner box. I had a leak where the reservoir tube goes into the radiator, no clamp . Just another corner for DC to cut. I put on a hose clamp and problem solved.
