Turbo Just Replaced and Now P2000 Code

Like many, I have recently experienced the P2262 code which resulted in a turbo replacement around 7,500 miles. This was about a week ago. After replacement, truck performance seemed improved except I have just received a P2000 code today. Anyone experienced similar?

Forgot to mention that the generic OBD-II DTC P2000 code indicates "NOx Trap Efficiency Below Threshold". I'm curious if the faulty turbocharger has affected the NOx absorber...

the knuckleheads at the dealership may have left a wire loose or something?

mine went back a week after turbo replacement to fix a massive oil geyser...

they didnt seat the oil return tube from the turbo all the way into the block

Update on P2000 code. I took my truck back to the dealer 3 days ago for the CEL and they claimed the did a search and could not find any flash updates or fix for the issue. Therefore, they cleared the code and sent me on my way. Though, I did have the manual high idle feature idled while in the shop - it's very nice. I guess we will have to wait to the newest info comes out on this problem.

P2000 Code

Just recieved this same fault code. "Result" was a bad Oxygen Sensor Module. Hope this will take care of the throttle stumble as well?

I had a similar code 2002 which was something like DPF below efficiency threshold. Turned out my DPF had failed indicated by lots of black smoke out the tailpipe. Dealer replaced DPF, no problems since.

The AU flash was supposed to fix that...I thought. I had that code and got the flash and haven't had any problems-

Guys, thanks for all the replies. So far, no repeat of p2000 code after code was cleared by dealer after 1,000 miles. Turbo is also performing well and seems to operate smoother with the exhaust compared to my original. Will keep posted. Thx again!

Turbo's seem to be dieing on the 6.7's ... not sure why.. But if you get P2262, you are pretty much guaranteed a new turbo.

yes.. That will show the codes, and clear ones that arent active.. If they are active, the CEL will stay on.. but you can use a programmer like bullydog or a edge juice w/ attitude to clear them... or take it into the shop and they can use the starscan.
