Question On P2000 Code
Question On P2000 Code
I had my turbo replaced a few weeks ago and the AX update performed at the same time. This has resolved some issues with the CEL constantly coming on. Now, I have a new code showing up, P2000. My code reader reads: "Hybrid Battery System Voltage High"
My question is: Will it be OK to run the truck for a while with this glitch? I can erase the stored code and turn off the CEL but it comes on again eventually. What I'm concerned with is that there appears to be an over-voltage problem according to the code reader. I don't want to damage other parts due to a constant over-voltage condition. I can't get to the dealer right away. What do yo think? Just an annoyance code or something real serious? Thanks in advance,...
BTW, I've spent many hours at various dealerships over the past 10 months trying to get the constant CEL problems resolved, as have many of you. I still love the truck, though...

P2000 seems to be a fairly common code. Especially after a turbo replacement (do a forum search). Most have resolved the issue with a new flash, but since you have the latest flash I'd don't know what will help. Looks like you'll have to take it back to the dealer eventually. I would drive in the meantime.
