turbo issues

Just wondering what everyone thinks causes the turbo issues. Is it the raw fuel injected into the exhaust stroke during regen. Seems to me a like a huge amount of buildup on the moving parts in the turbo would occur with this unburnt fuel oil coming in contact with hot parts. Am I understanding the regen mode of operation. Thanks

Its not so much the regen but the EGR and all the soot it dumps back into the intake

Excessive idling and not driving truck long enough to complete a regens. Sometime a cleaning will work but code could return within 5,000 miles. If it does the turbo will need to be replaced. Code DTC P2262 Update your PCM if you haven't done it already. -
Turbocharger Boost Pressure Not Detected - Mechanical. Recent PCM calibration
updates have improved the robustness to this DTC through updated diagnostic strategies.
As a result, many events which have no adverse affects on drivability, emissions, or
reliability will no longer set the P2262 fault.
Cleaning EGR valve when you have turbo replaced or cleaned. Covered under warranty to 100k miles
