Straight pipe
They will throw a code if you just take the stuff off. Trust me, they will throw a code. If you leave that code alone they will slowly throw more codes.
The trucks are not much louder but, they are louder. The biggest difference is at lower speeds if you let the converter lock up and slowly accelerate from 1000-1100 rpms and up. It has a super deep, throaty type sound. Almost a drone type sound but, it is so deep it is not annoying.
Dyno results show around 11-13rwhp gain.
Lots of stuff to still work out but, in the very near future we will be beta testing some stuff.
If you have a serious desire to straight pipe them please PM me. I can keep the lights off but, there is some other things that need to be addressed as this is pretty complicated.
If you want to do this, I will get you to sign a NDA and I can tell you what you are faced with if you take this step. This is obviously more complicated than just cutting it off and going down the road.

Have you done this on one that has the new turbo brake Im courious as to how they sound with a straight pipe they sound so much like a real jake brake the way they are now. Thanks
OK, QZilla' Dude... You got my interest for sure as I am having all sorts of fun with mine clogging the DPF and all that wonderful stuff they have on these...
Heck I use my truck five days a week to make a living too and its not a cool thing I figure what the cummins has to do in order to exhale all the exhaust out of this stuff with it clogged up somewhat...
I have noticed a lot better time between the CEL's when I run mine harder down the road. I have also seen an improved length between the CLE's not using the PS fuel additive in the fuel!!! Which was a real hard thing for me to believe since the PS works so well in my older diesel truck... So I am not using the PS at all now and she does run cleaner with out the stuff.
So you mentioned you could turn the lights off and all the other more complicated stuff as well from running a straight pipe on these. I have had a look at the inside of the stock muffler and I figure it would not be something you would really need to delete. Not much to the muffler really, so whats involved besides the deleting all the other items on the exhaust with straight pipe? We need to buy a programmer of yours or just what do we need to get from you on doing this task dude??? Sign me up, I want to put all this wonderful emission stuff on my cummins in the corner of the shop somewhere and forget I paid all this money I did to have all that on my cummins LOL...

QZ,
Dude I have tried to send you a PM in hopes of getting a NDA for me to sign as well so that I may be able to remove all the stuff and run just pipe on my 6.7 and maybe a muffler if need be...
You are all stacked out on the limit of PM's you can have right now, so I sure would like the info on doing the QZ- Mod to the exhaust on my 6.7 as well as all the rest here I figure LOL...
