Just got back from the dealer for the second time this week. Had a CEL last week, threw codes 2262 and 1451. CEL cleared itself the next day, but the codes remained. Fuel milage dropped the rest of the week from 14-15 avg to 11.5. Power seemed down also. Dropped the truck off on Monday, picked it up on Tuesday afternoon, only to be told that no stored codes were found, and all systems checked out OK. Drive the truck home, and just to satisfy curiosity, check for codes. Sure as ****, 2262 is still there, but 1451 is gone. Drive to work this morning, and after shutdown, 2262 is there, and so is 0128. I'm starting to get ****** now, so I call my salesman (who is also a friend) to tell him something needs to get done TODAY. Stop back after work, and when the service manager comes out with me, no codes show up! Regardless, he calls the Techline and they authorize a turbo replacement. They also told him there will be a new flash coming out soon. So, new turbo's on order, new flashes are coming, and I hope I get my mileage back.

BTW, this whole situation cost me about 30k already, on one of the trips to the dealer last week my lovely bride found a Hemi Charger that's now in my driveway. They better fix this thing before she finds the Speedshop!

 

I was at the dealer yesterday getting fuel filters. Service MGR said theres new updates for performance and mileage coming soon. I had those codes. Turbo was fine. I wonder if they will notice if you took the old one? LOL

Good Luck with that Turbo, my truck is on its 3rd right now! The truck got a CEL the second night I had it for the EGR Valve which happened to be a recurring problem, 3 of those babies too. Been to the dealer 9 times now. Im just happy I had another vehicle to drive because I am under 21 or 25 and they wont give me a rental =( Its been kept overnight three times now as well I really hope they fix it this time, because new turbo and 1k miles later, its back in there. I love dodge/cummins, but this is really shaking my faith and I know that no other companies are having luck cause my dads DMx is pretty evil too. I just hope it gets straightened out soon!
