Ram 4500 automatic

New ram 4500 automatic 6spd aisin 4.44 axles .
Trany seems to shift to soon from 3rd and on. Causing the motor to strain its way up to higher rpm only to shift again. Tow/haul and od/off don't seem to change the up shift timing only the down shift timing.

Truck only has 1000 miles.

Has anybody else experienced this trany yet.

I'd rather have the engine utilize its high torque capacity to try and accelerate vs. having the engine spin faster to use hp to accelerate.

remember you also have less power available with the CC models vs. those that come with a box on the bed (less power than the 04.5 - 07 5.9L models too).

I haul a 30' gooseneck flat deck 6800lbs. Plus 15000lbs payload.
Im just looking to see if this is normal, my 05 3500 was good at screaming thru the gears haha. Should I be worrying?
