Overall the trucks are way above in creature comforts, ride quality etc....
Are the 10 & 11 the same for suspension, cab, box?
I'm pretty sure the 11's are 383 Hp and the 10's are 350 Hp, havent really been keeping up lately.
Just bought a 2011 Mega Cab this week, So far I really love this truck. Ride quality, refinement and comfort blow my 07 out of the water. Power is very good and the 6sp auto is a dream to drive.
I have a 2011 CTD Laramie 4X4 Mega and it is simply OK at stock. The very best "Hand Calculated" mpg I have gotten is 13.8. Thats with nothing in TOW and driving about 6000 miles so far. I am currently in the middle of doing the full delete option so I am 100% positive I will be happy after that. Power, MPG, and driveability will be some much better.
As far as the actual comfort, visual appeal, and ride I am happy as can be. Its like driving my wife's brand new Honda Pilot with alot more height and power.
Towing, the only thing I have pulled is a fully stock Ford Mustang at about 3200lbs and a 1200lb trailer. Truck did not even know the trailer was there. Exhaust brake works OK stock and probably much better with full deletes.
If you are buying brand new, specify what will void your warranty and get it in writing!! If they say an intake, exhaust, and emissions delete will void the warranty the just don't waste the money on an extended one. Quite Simply, you will more than likely perform deletes and add a tuner soon after the purchase of the vehicle.
REASON, 4-6mpg better and a cleaner running CTD. Truck will pay for the delete by itself in 10,000miles
