I remember reading on this forum about a couple of folks who have been offered life time warranty's on the 6.7 instead of the lemon buy back.

I am talking with my dealer about the CEL problem and he said that I should try the lemon law, however, I had rather have the warranty.

If anyone remembers seeing these posts or has had the experience, please respond.

I need lots of evidence.

 

I would try to get them to honor the warranty even if you bypass the emissions which is the cause of all your problems.
Either that or do the lemon law and find yourself a nice 5.9 in exchange. I'm sure they have a used one somewhere in the system....

 

if they will replace the turbo the CEL wil not come back on for the P2262 code

 

If you are one of the few lucky ones.

Some guys get a new turbo and the light comes on before they get back home from the dealership.... It's a crapshoot if you will get a good one or not.....

 

Just got the new turbo today, after 20 miles the CEL is still off... I hope it comes on soon -- It will give me additional reason for getting the lifetime warranty...

Did they do the AY reflash ? Does the truck run better?

 

They did the AY flash before the last CEL and it performed the same afterwards.
