1400 miles. It said system ok the entire time. It acted like you had water in the fuel when it was cutting out. I hope they soon make something to bypass this stuff soon or plan on plenty of visits to the dealer.

I'm at 2850 and haven't seen regen yet, but I drive the pi#% out of it every other day for about 55 miles on the turnpike. No muffler and no codes as of yet, finger crossed...

after 800 miles I started pulling alot. I was pulling about 9k when it happened. It sounded like the 2 generation engine when it messed up.

When I first got my truck, it was super quiet when running, even if you were standing outside. Almost sounded like a gas engine, but not quite.

Now, I have 2300 miles on it and it sounds a lot more like an 05 or 06 5.9 when idling. Don't get me wrong, I actually like it better since it sounds more dieselly, but is this just normal as it breaks in or should I be concerned about anything? No codes or lights of any kind, seems to run fine.

I have nine thoousand miles on mine now. computer says I've only done seven regeneration cycles. but I know I have a cracked dpf or cat.. because the truck smokes... which I don't mind. I know it won't clog up if its not stopping the soot. and no codes thrown. so I'm not going to replace the cat or dpf

go to a dealership, and have them hook up a starscan to your truck. It will show how many regens it has attempted, how many were completed, and how many failed... along with a "desired" ammount. it "desired" 90 regens. Had 7 completed successfully, and 0 failed.
