I am thinking about jumping back to Ford....kinda. I have had nothing but troubles with my 06, I am tired of the dealer service and putting up with problems I can't fix myself. I shouldn't be making big payments for all that hassle and a truck that doesn't run.

So a crewcab Ford with a 12v is sounding like my best option at this point.

I think the 96 and 97 F350 CC Fords were some of the best looking trucks ever made. Just my opinion.

And with a 12v or 24v with the right mods... Wow - that'd be a great truck.

I would never jump ship however..... I absolutly love the interior of the King Ranch F250 and F350. If could drop a Cummins in that and convert it into a manual I would never want another truck.

No way to jump ship for me. Ford has too many problems, and front end looks horrible. Chevy may be the best bet, but their 4x4's are the same height as the 2x4's and I spend way too much time on dirt roads and off road. Also there is no way i'd go with Chevy until they offer a solid front axle. Plus i've had no problems with any Dodge diesel i've had, and that's 1 for me and 3 for the ranch. And they all get/got used hard.

I'd jump ship from my 04 to a 08 6.7(if I had the money) After haulin with my dads 07.5 and drivin around my friends 07.5, wow. Both get check engine lights but they never actually broke. Heck my 04, with the tst or ts or banks 6-gun threw codes like crazy.
