How do I ID rear gears etc.

I'm looking at a used 2007, 6.7, 4x4, SLT Big Horn, auto. This thing is like NEW. not a scratch on it and only 16K miles. I want to be sure I know what I'm getting.
On the prior generation there was a sticker in the glove box that told you what equipment was installed - rear end gears etc.. How about on the 2007's? How can I tell what rear gears it has?

Thanks
Ken

The simplest way is to get the VIN and have a dealership run a build sheet for ya.....

Yeah they told me the gears were 4.10's but that was coming from a salesman. Don't usually trust them on technical questions. I looked for a sticker like on my '04.5 but not there. Oh well. I'll wait and see if anyone else has any input and if not just go by what the salesman says.

Thanks

I got a build sheet with mine when I bought it. It took them about 20 seconds to print it off.

Take it for a test drive. 6.7L with an automatic and stock tires, you should be about 1650rpm @ 65mph if the truck has 3.73 gears. If it is higher RPMs then that, it is 4.10 gears. Those were the only two gear ratio's offered in the 6.7L automatic in '07.
