its 3.54 or 4.10s. Do you have a tach? What size are your tires?

You could jack the rear of the truck up and count how many the tires spin per driveshaft rotation or maybe its the other way around, someone else will chime in soon.

with an 727 nonoverdrive auto you should have 3.07. If you have a 518 overdrive you will have 3.54.

It's a 93- he'll have the 3.54 or 4.10 with the OD, unless he happens to have another fluke like that guy in Indiana.

Look on the rear diff cover- there should be a tag between two bolts on the cover. It will have the ratio, along with the Bill Of Materials number (important if you have to order parts.)

You can jack up one side and turn the tire one complete revolution and see how many times the yoke turns. If it is 4, you have 4.10s; if ~3-1/2, you have 3.54s. If the tire wont turn with tranny in neutral, you have a limited slip- and need to jack up the other side as well.
