Fuel problem

Hey.
I had an issue with my truck a few months ago. Low fuel pressure code came on and truck showed signs of fuel starvation. I replaced the filter and it ran fine, engine light went off and all was good.
Today, I hooked up to my trailer, gave it some shoe and problem came back, spluttering and light came back on.
I nursed the truck home, unhooked trailer and drove lightly for 20 miles, no problems.
Seems like that there is a fuel blockage somewhere. I get fuel from a bowser at work and sometimes fuel from my inbed tank in a construction environment so I suspect a blockage somewhere. I have an 2007 5.9 with the upgraded in tank pump.
Where should I start to look?

I was wondering if there was a filter in the tank that needs cleaning. If the pump is in the tank, there has to be a filter in there to protect it, correct?
I have only done 1000 miles since replacing the filter on the motor side.

There is screen holes in the basket in the tank along with a kind of a filter screen before the pump intake in the tank but not a serviceable item. The problem could also be your in tank pump is taking a dump. When the dealer did the conversion to move mine into tank it crapped in a year, always bought fuel from service stations no slip tanks.

This. Check the fuel line going from the filter housing to the injector pump. There is a screen there and I bet its gunked up.

Prolem came back today. Changed filter and there was some dirt in the housing. Where is that screen between the filter and the injrctor pump?

In the line right off of the filter housing going to the CP3.
