Are you talking about the new 2010 style filter or the new 2009 filter that upgrades the 2007-2009?

The OP was wanting to swap to the 2010 style filter which is similiar to the 5.9L style in that a drop in filter is accessed through the top of the filter housing.

I used the 09 filter, sorry for the confusion.

Yeah I really want to do this too.


As soon as I can get home and pull Roger and my truck side by side Im gonna see if it would even be worth the headache.
