Ford’s Torqshift VS Aisin / 68RFE

is it possible that you could put the aisn 6 spd auto on a 5.9 as a retro fit?

I went up to my buddy’s place yesterday to pickup his 2000 3/4-ton Dodge to take it into the shop. Injector pump went out . He is really thinking about upgrading to the new 2007 3500 as I’ am , so he was asking this question, because he really likes the tow / haul mode in my F-550.
VGT braking enabled is standard now (as noted above).

tow/haul is there. ERS (electronic range select) is also standard, which can be used to block out 6th (OD off).

You can drive them without ever using the service brakes, just tap the button to downshift and use the VGT braking (which provides more braking power than the butterfly valve version BTW) to get to about 10 mph. Then you have to use the brakes.

Cummins VGT braking will provide far more braking power than either GM or Ford.

Ok.. Which tranny is this or will both the Aisian and 68RFE have the same features?
