Does it spin free if you try and spin it by hand? Mine seems like its got more resistance then I remember. It will not free spin when I give it a spin with my hand. It does spin for a bit after I shut off the engine.

Might swing by a dealer and check a new one.

 

Ice cold this morning, clutch is fairly stiff to turn. Once running its a little more free.

 

Resistant when warm here too. Probably normal.

 

Usually the problem is little to no resistance.

 

Or it locks up solid. I have seen that before.

 

Scotty, what you say is exactly what mine does. Seems normal (whatever the definition of normal is).
