Draining fuel filter

How often do you drain your fuel filter? Do you completely drain the filter or only a little? Do you just let it drain on the service station driveway or try and catch it somehow?

There is no regular time , except the one you set , the way I do it is , if something seems wrong , one of the checks is to drain a little [ 1/4 cup ] in [ best ] glass container , to see if there is anything in the fuel .
You should fill in your signature in the user control panel , info on your truck , to get answers to what you have .
With the newer trucks , that have a filter cartage , draining all to make less of a mess when changing .
