One other thing to consider before deleting any emissions equipment is that if your state implements a smog check on diesels, like several states already have, you won't be able to register your truck unless all emissions equipment is in place and operating appropriately. It will probably cost a LOT more to put it back than it did to take it off.

i have a 5" stainless turbo back system, with the edge/attitude and i just get a little smoke when i get on it in the hot (6) setting. the sound with the 5" turbo back is awesome, aside from the drone you get around 2200rpm.

i can have my entire stock exhaust out of my attic and back on my truck in less than 2 hours if need be. i think Texas will be one of the last for diesel emissions testing. but just in case i held on to everything. once you install or remove the exhaust, it's gravy doing it again.

ya thats one thing i made sure of when i bought this kit. It is totally removable and untracable because my state does require a smog test like every two years or something, but ya one or two hours and its back to being legal. Only a little smoke with an edge huh, well that sucks i wonder if that diablosport powerpuck im looking into will do any better. Or maybe even the PPE programmer, i know chevys running those and they smoke like crazy

The PMT on extreme smokes like a freight train. revving at a stand still, during hard throttle, heck just accelerating at anything more than a crawl and that tailpipe is belching money out of it. Might want to look into the PMT.

Not that much more than an Edge Juice w/Attitude considering the Edge is price locked (new, of course) at $799.20 and the PMT can be had from authorized dealers for around $800-850.
