Code 2563
CEl came on with a strange code not listed under the 6.7 trouble codes.P2563. It has something to do with the turbocharger boost control positon sensor. Any ideas on what's going on . Is the turbo going out, or is it just the sensor giving problems. Also where is the sensor located at??

A flash should take care of it.

The truck is my work truck. It has 131,000 plus on the OD. The guy on the other forum said the commanded position of the turbocharger and the actual position of the turbo aren"t agreeing with each other. Maybe recalibrating the actuator would fix it. Hey, I 'm just a truck driver, will see what happens if I keep running it.

Run hard and heavy with the exhaust break on. This may work the slider nozzle enough to clean it up and stop the code from popping up.
