Check under hood

while checking fluids etc., i noticed the heat/sound deadener was sagging off of the firewall and laying on the upper heater hose making a noticeable mark on it.put a small sheet metal screw through it into the firewall.then i checked the other truck and sure enough it was the same.

my truck has oil on the block from that tube to the rear of the block. i have wiped it off and its hasnt come back, should i be worried?

what is that tube coming out of the block right there in his first pic?

Mine did the same, i fixed it with a 3"plastic washer and a sheet metal screw.
