Check Air filter alarm

Today while driving up to Lake Tahoe from Reno While pulling a large grade my Dash dinger sounded. I looked down and no Check engine or warning light was on the dash so I thought maybe it was just my MP3 player. About 2 minutes later I looked up to check my milage and noticed a check air filter alarm on my overhead comp??? After I shut the truck off and restarted it was gone!!

This truck is bone stock with a grand total of 485 miles! any ideas of what might have caused this?? I was on boost pretty good when it went off.

Got the same message too one time while pulling heavy. Checked the filter minder - never moved, actually it never does. Was close to replacing the air filter @ 10k mile interval anyway. Haven't seen that message again.
