just wondering what you guys are driving for trans and why you went that route, i love the new auto trans, but at the same time i like the manual, what are your thoughts

 

I went with the man for the purpose of being able to pull my '28 travel trailer. The truck doesn't even know the trailer is there. I've had 2 instances now with forgetting to pull my wheel chocks, once with my wife's '04 5.9 in 4wd (got out and pulled them,) and once with my 6.7 man. (Ended up having to buy new chocks). We both love the control of the manual, but love the mileage of the '04 auto.

I got the manual in my '08. I can't stand autos. It's all personal preference though, from everything i've read they're both good transmissions now
