Help! Front and Rear Diff and Transfer Case info.

A little history first. I have a 06 2500 srw CTD mega cab with 19,000 miles on it. Bought it new and the radiator was leaking so I took it into the dealer to get that replaced.
Anyway while in there I tell them that when I am in 4wd and towing up my driveway pulling any load by the time I get to the top the tranny light comes on as I just want them to check it out while it's in there.
So they check it out and say everything looks good but they would get the front/rear and trasfer case fluid changed. So I ask how much and they say $180. So I so while it's there go ahead and do it.
The guy calls back a day later and says the truck is ready (radiator) but they didn't change the fluids because there are 4 different drive lines and my truck has the american drive line that takes a special fluid and the fluid alone is $180 some dollars? The new price is $350 plus dollars to do the change! I said nope and want the info as I am going to do it my self.
Wanted to get some opinions as is this true? 4 different drive lines? That big of a difference on what drive line you have? What kind of oil cost that kind of $$? What is everyone running and cost?
Plus my interior lights only stay on for roughly 10 seconds and I read another thread on here about a flash of the CCM and if that didn't work then the harness needs replaced so I told them about that and they said the flash didn't work and that's how the lights are. BS as another guy on here had his fixed as his dealer called star technical and mine is giving me the run around.

Your first question is since 03 its been AAM axels with a New Venture transfer case and Chrysler built auto. All of the above does require a synthetic fliud and its somewhat pricey. It can be bought for less money then the dealer of course.Sounds like you got a new or green service adviser that after he sold you the fliud changes which if first time I agree should be done at your mileage,he missed priced big time.So he did a two step and tried to somehow get himself(or her)out of a bind instead of saying"I really mis priced this as I'm not familer with such and such etc.etc. Your 2nd deal about interior light I have no clue..You might want to go back and talk to the head honcho about such, ask how munch labor to change fliuds(each item) then how much is parts etc. or handle it as you see fit. Not trying to sell you Amsoil fliuds but they have a chart listed for fliuds and you can price them/amounts and compare to others.www.amsoil.com
