Just seemed to stop adding oil. Didn't do anything different, maybe just more miles and rings started to seal up better? I really don't know what the secret was....or what was causing the problem....I just changed the oil between 3,000 to 4,000 miles to avoid what I assumed was diesel fuel dilution of the oil.

The dealer's service manager really gave me a line of crap about the oil level issue - I **** near went over the desk after him one time - be he is now gone and I have an arrangement with the new guy...

 

17000 miles and no issues yet.

 

Good to hear that there is a minimum of problems. Fuel milage that you have posted looks pretty good to.

 

No problems with my 08. Only 3500 miles on it right now. Just had the first oil change done yesterday. Going to add 5'' DPF back exhaust, AFE Intake, and Gauges on the pillar. All mods that my dealer said wont be any problem if theres a warranty issue to be covered. No programmers for me till the warranty is up. I cant afford/dont want to lose it. Build Date on the door panel is 11/07, bought it 11/08

 

I have had mine since december. I have had one cel light come on but cleared itself. I have put an AFE intake on it so far. im getting 16 to 18 mpg. I love the hell of this truck.

 

07 3500 with 48000 kms. No issues. Stock.

 

08 2500 4X4 with no problems at all(only 4900mi.). I did just take it in this morning for the H36 recall(steering stabilizer). They had all the parts and knocked it out in about an hour. So far, I'm very happy with this truck. She's nice and strong with no CEL's....

 

Just under 28k. No problems. No CEL that wasn't my fault.

32k and always towing something and no problems!!! Went to Glamis sand dunes on Presidents day hauling a 5er got 8.4 going and 7.5 coming home to Colorado.

 

DOM 01-07. AV Flash. Emissionless, juice w/ att. Runs like crazy. No problems at all. 28000 miles. LOVE IT.

 

10,000 miles, stock, no problems and still love it

 

Replaced steering box, upgraded tie rods, since then no problems 65,000 and climbing 18 mpg hand calculated, on highway, in town 13 mpg. Problems w/particulate filter when hunting on mountain two years in a row. Other than that it has done fine.

 

New turbo installed 6 months ago and this "Super Truck" has run flawlessly..

Stock until end of warranty. Latest flash (BA)

 

250 miles and no problems yet...
